Well be towing the boat down to culburra for the first time over Christmas and was looking for some advice on where to look for live bait and kingfish in the vicinity of crookhaven. Well be launching from the crookhaven ramp. It's obviously a general question but any suggestions will do. Thanks. Well be fishing from a 22ft boat.

As soon as you get through the crookhaven heads, head a couple of hundred meters of the lighthouse, use sounder to find some colour than berley for slimeys and yakkas, you wont miss it there will be heaps of boats as its the first point outside heads where all will stop for live bait. You will find kings out at the banks (dont have co ordinates but ask at culburra bait and tackle or just follow the boats from river, most go to banks for a look first up from bait grounds) I fish from greenwell point most weeks it has been pretty quiet at the banks in regards to kings but plenty of reefys around, hopefully we get a bit of current in the next week or two over the banks, that should fire things up a bit for the kings and hopefully a beaky or two might turn up.
