minefisha
Hi i've just gotten a bait pump for Christmas and found a good yabbie spot just opposite cottage point wharf. I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips about how to use yabbies / how to hook them / some good spots in the area. (i have a boat but only a small zodiac)
LeoB
Gday Nippers are my favourite bait for whiting and bream. Only prob is they are gone in one bite. I usually stick the hook right up their clacker and out just after the hard part, and if using a 4-6lb leader a half hitch round the tails. Out of the boat if you can drift em unweighted, or 1 split shot, over the edges of some sand flats you will do well. Cheers Leo Cheers Leo
