Gave IC a crack today with a big surf outfit with ganged pilchards for anything that came by, a paternoster rig on a light rod with chicken and parmesan cheese and a rod for plastics..

Started off with a small bream on the chicken and later on a 35.5cm flatty on a 100mm bloodworm wriggler which i was happy with as i haven't got a flatty for so long. Every time i brought in the big rod the pilchard was gone but whilst it was in its rod holder nothing signalled that anything was bitting it..

Great spot though and i might dedicate a trip there purely to plastics. Does anyone know how the river is improving in dioxins because i really want to take some of the fish home sometimes
