First fish for 2012 !

Went to Roseville, was very busy on account of amazing weather and public holiday, so wasn't able to set up at my usual fav spot, so went all the way to the end in hope of picking up a flatty.

First fish was an undersized snapper by my mate, but was actually pretty decent for this part of the system just under 25cms. Next few fish were undersized bream, we had 2 bigger Rods sitting further out but they were only getting picked at, tried half pillie on a suicide hook no hookups so switched to squid no luck either so changed to whole pillie on ganged hook and came back a skeleton haha so thinking maybe crabs ??

A school a nice sized tailor came though and we landed a couple of those but they all went back, tried to flick some blades at them and nothing, bait back in the water hookup straight away. Lazy fish !!!!

Anyway didn't get the flatties was hoping for but still a decent arvo fishing and good way to end 9 days off
