the033
hey guys im new to this stuff so i hope i am posting in the right section ok, so here it goes. im going to manyana in a couple of weeks for a quick break but never taken my 4.55 m coastrunner quinnie there before. i know it is more than capable in lake conjola, but my quiery is is it going to be ok to go out from manyana and around to green island and beyond, or will it be a bit too rough? id appreciate any insight into this and in addition if anyone knows generic fishing spots to give a go, or else i will be just driving around hoping for the best i have not really done anything down south apart from JB before. thanks
cheap charlie
4.55 boat is fine depending on: - The swell - Your ability Asses if the sea is suitable, take all the safety precautions & log in with coastal Patrol. Generally you will be better of getting out there at first light in order to get a fish in before the wind comes up. Not much point heading any further south that green island. if the swell and or wind is up, drag your boat up to JB as there is all ways some where in the bay out of the wind. the033
yeah. Ability wise im relatively confident in rougher conditions. as you stated swell was a factor i was more concerned about. i appreciate the advice. have you had any experience with bendalong boat ramp? i understand at low tide it is essentially a 4x4 only ramp. but does anyone have any more info?
