healy39 Posted January 12, 2012 Share Posted January 12, 2012 heading out from greenwell point boat ramp around 6.30 collected a few live baits which i made tough for my self by leaving the burely at home got around 10 yakkas and 1 slimey in the tank and headed out to the banks to chase kings downrigged live baits for a few hours but didnt even get a hit decided to drop a few strips of yakka down ended up catching 3 wrase and striped looking thing my mate caught a 50cm stinky pike and a 53cm trevally as we werent catching much heading back in to fish for flathead off shoalhaven heads all up caught about 30 flathead but only 8 were keepers 1 of which spat out what could only resemble a snake about 25cm long white and slightly transparent in colour with a head of a snake thought it may be a baby sea snake but i thought u only found them in tropical water. all up was a good day on the water just couldnt find the kings cheers brent Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

healy39 Posted January 13, 2012 Author Share Posted January 13, 2012 Haven't fished off gerroa yet been told there's a wreck or reef about 8 mile straight out off blackhead but still trying to get marks for it. plenty of bait arond but water still hasn't warmed up enough was 20.5 to 21 degrees was a few boats trolling around for marlin but no hook ups Cheers brent Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

What has the fishing been like of late? would liek to go outside but I do not know the area to well.
