Aqua Naut
Hi Fishraiders, I have a problen which I hope someone could help me out with who may have experienced this as well. My Lowrance unit has a Navionics Australia wide plotter installed and when I have turned the unit on the screen shows the waypoints trails etc but the map layout has vanished. The screen is white with no coastal layout . Now if i zoom out to the last setting I see a Map of Australia but when I start to zoom in again the screen becomes white with no map. I've gone to Map Data set choice in settings and Lowrance is there but Navionics is not. Can anyone help me out on how to restore the mapping. Im hopping it aint the card as they are an expensive bit to have to buy again. Cheers
OzMacca
Hi Aqua naut, If you live around the penrith area I would be happy to try my navionics card in your unit. I have the Lms-522c iGPS in my tinny. Cheers Macca
Cannon85
Hey Macca I am also having the same issue with my lowrance 525, i beleive it is an issue with my navionics card or possible the card reader in the unit after some tinkering and contact cleaner i got it to work for a bit longer and on the last trip the same issue has come back to haunt me again. probably not alot of help to you but just letting you know your not the only one with the problem but thats just boating i guess cheers
Boog's Boat
Hi Guys, Give them a call they should be able to help you out. They did when I was having issues. The only thing that I know is that you cannot put your navionics card into the computer as it will wipe the card. To upload waypoints etc you need to use a different card. Good Luck Nath
