mgj
Went inside and out of the Harbour yesterday. With this fickle weather the fishing is variable as we all know. I found a school of bigger surface kingies. They were difficult to catch up with, but when I did,I nailed a couple on fly. This one went 74 cm. Also I hooked a horse bonnie-It went 67 cm and weighed 9 lbs,it was very fat. When I hooked it, the bonnie went down on a big run with headshakes.I thought this is an unusual fight for a king,(which I thought it was because of it's power before I saw it) ! paul.kenny
Hi Mark, great fish on fly, both must have been great fun. Average sized Bonnies are fun on Bream gear so I could just imagine how fun it would have been hooking both fish on fly gear. cheers Basscatcher

erroll
Nice work there mate. We went out in very questionable weather yesterday. Had the fly rods but they never got unpacked. Standing upright was an issue let alone waving the wand. Next time! Cheers Erroll
