Formosan
Hi Guys Fished the bay today. Launched around 6.30 am, the weather was pretty ordinary. Went to a well known livie spot and all I can hook up are baby leatherjackets , moved 3 times and can't escape them. In the last 3 trips I have been noticing alot of tiny leather jackets inside the bay anyone else. It sucks. Went to another not so well known livie location and finally got a tank full quick smart and no jackets. Plan was to fish the run up for breams then target Jews with the livie at high tide. As you can see we hooked a few breams and whiting and a big flattie. We later got a decent Trevally which is not in the picture. It was hard going with the rain, had to move a few times to score the fish. At the turn of the tide we moved onto a well known jewie spot, Had a few livies and Fillets and Butterflied livies or shall I said butterflied dead livies. My Bream rod goes off with a few massive runs and head shakes then the leader snapped. It snapped at the area I noticed was fraying earlier,.. which I was too lazy to replace. lesson learnt I guess. Here are pics of some of the catch. Thanks for reading.

Formosan
Yeh them jackets sucks they are too small to eat and they go snip snip. Didn't need squid wasnt going outside for kings waves were big so didn't bother and likely to catch 0 squid anyways I need a seal rather than squid . Formosan any chance of sharing another livie spot in the Bay, as I only know of Yarra Bay and at the moment I can't get any. Cheers Rod
