hughsnews
Hi Folks, Me and my fishing buddy are heading out on the boat tomorrow morning- if the rain stays away. After fishing pretty much in either the Eastern Harbour or Lane Cove, we have decided to launch at Five Dock Bay in Drummoyne. Never fished there before but thought we'd give it a crack- can anyone suggest a few good spots or even some areas to stay away from??? Any help would be amazing- Happy to share a few secret(well I hope) spots in LC or Harbour in return (PM me) Cheers
hughsnews
If your fishing the Lane cove river, along the Bank on the eastern Side near the mouth of it is good on the run out tide, Just cast towards the shore and you should get a few bream and possibly whiting along the sandy bits. I have not been out for a while but this spot has proven reliable in the past. you can also give Drummoyne a go near the Mored boats just make sure you dont ancor near the submarine cables. Good Luck, Regards, Nathan Thanks for that mate... Yeah I fish the Lane Cove pretty regularly and have a few spots I frequent.... more after the Drummoyne spots
hughsnews
No Worries Mate, There's not much to Drummoyne basically find the structure and you will find something, near the bridges and around the marina's is pretty good, just be mindful of the submarine cables, Good Luck with it, Regards, Nathan Cheers thanks mate... yeah thats what we were thinking about doing! Fingers crossed it pays off
