finin
Gday All, Well not much has changed over the last few days. Water temp from 80-120m is a beautiful 23.3 and blue and clear visibility to at least 20m and bugger all current. As you come in closer temps drop to around 21.3 still blue water but various areas of blue green. Fish are still coming up lethargic and plenty of snapper from 30-60m, Bream coming up scattered so also explains cold water on the bottom (Caught one today in 65m). Thats it! NickF
Do you just drive out of Sydney heads until the sounder reads 65m and then start a burley trail and drop baits down and just drift? I'm not much for offshore fishing but really want to get into it.

knot2nite
PM Sent Would love to know myself as I am new to offshore fishing without much succuss, and it is painful and expensive to come home empty handed.
finin
"It is painful and expensive to come home empty handed" . That is why we are fisherman and not catcherman! Do you have a sounder on board?
