Gday All again . Well for those who ventured out i hope it was worth it, cause i reckon it was! Amazing what the next day brings. Things have changed again, the ocean still amazes me. Swell still the same direction as yesterday Easterly swell still with a bit of wind chop from the se but nowhere near as bad as yesterday Wind all day from the se at 10-12kn swung easterley about 1100am at about 10kn. Headed out to around the 72m mark, current was at 1.3kn to the sw, temp at 22.3deg a bit fast for the fish.

Decided to come into the 60m mark and current dropped to.6kn and still sw. Plenty of fish to be found but you must work for them and the bite is very fast. Abundance of red spot whiting biggest have seen in a while at 29cm, all taking peeled schoolies! Some awesome flatties out there as well and some very big marbles amongst them also the biggest i have seen., as a matter of fact there are heaps of nice fish out there at the moment but as i said you must work for them, the bite is fast with looong periods between.

Also if youre into bream of the beach, Narra is firing especially the run out near the lake entrance. Spoke to a M8 this morning who caught his limt including a Nice 2kg Bream, waiting for the photo.

Also spoke to another M8 who has been going off on the kings, but be warned the are plenty of rats amongst them, just ask the blokes who got busted in Botany Bay by fisheries with 40 UNDERSIZED KINGFISH hidden in their boat reulting in a loss of boat etc etc and to face court shortly. Just a note males sexually mature at 47cm and 50% of females sexually mature at 83cm, work that out!

Anyway get out there tomorrow if you can before the blow is due on maybe Monday some time. Some of the Sydney trawl fleet left port this arvo so that means good weather for the next couple of days. As the market floor is open Monday they will do what they can then sort on the way back. So if you see the trawlers coming back into Sydney you will know the blow is on the way. Enjoy!
