Guest hawkesbass Posted January 29, 2012 Share Posted January 29, 2012 Hit up the georges river with ddaniel on sunday at 2 30 in the arvo to go for the mullet with bread for bait we arrived at our spot and found the conditions to be tough with the wind swirling around and blowing reasonably strong we started to berley and sent baits out within half an hour we had small poddies around the bigger mullet moved in and we started fishing first too hookup was dan with a mullet landed of 35cms then dan got another mullet around the same size then i got one we kept on using the berley and brought the bigger fish in which sat just out of casting range we kept on fishing and landing mullet around the 30-35cm size just before we left i used a unweighted bait cast under the tree branches along the bank and managed to hook a small bream off 20cms next cast into the same spot my bait got smashed and after a good fight i landed my pb black bream of 38cms and weighed 1.06 kg we kept 9 mullet for bait and released the bream Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
