this is my first post. !! Love the web site and its reports.

Went for a quick flick at brighton le sands the other day with the Mrs. and my son.

there were a few blokes fishing together taking up almost half the section of the bay i was at. i saw them catching quite a few whiting every 5 or so minuites but allot of them were undersized but the bastards kept em.

Anyways i wadded out around 30 m to try and cast onto the drop off. withing 5 mins i was onto something not too big, braught it in and it was a just legal flattie. braught it in to show the kid, and released. another 10 mins after that another just legal flattie. let to go aswell.

all in all i havnt been fishng with sp for a long time and i find the sp are heaps fun and im getting more bites on the sp than bait fishing. i find it more fun aswell.
