Bundeena Boat Ramp

My brother is planning a camping weekend at Bundeena. Is there a boat ramp near the camp ground or somewhere close by? I searched the web a while ago and remember that there was a sand one, but I think it was closed for refurb? Any info would be appreciated.

What about the one in Gunnamatta Bay? It's not too flash, that's the only problem. Check out the Ramps forum for photos.

Pretty sure the only one there is sand last time i checked, will need a 4WD for that one without a doubt and i wouldn't launch anything too big there

Thanks guys. I am heading up from Wollongong so was looking for something near the camp ground at Bundeena, rather than boating in. Sounds like the sand option might be a bit tricky given I'll be taking up my gutless 2WD ute!

Been a year or so since I was there but it was just some sleeper logs chained together down the to the water, there is kayak hire at the same spot which might be another option.
