Reef Magic Port Report - 11th - 15th Feb

Hi all,

We after some great weather we have been able to finally spend some multiple days on the water. Saturday saw us fish the carpark along with around 50 other boats and the bite was still good with most boats getting 5 - 7 fish, 1 trailer boat managed 10 for the day. It was the usual nightmare when you hooked up trying to dodge other boats and plenty of fish lost due to cross overs & other boats. We didn't fish on the Sunday but the bite shutdown and a lot of boats came home with 1 fish or zeros.

Monday again saw the fish back on the chew with plenty of boats getting 5+ fish again.

Tuesday saw us straight out the front skip baiting and managed 2 fish from 4 and again down at the carkpark the bite had backed off. Yesterday saw us head back down the carpark livebaiting and the fishing had picked up a bit and saw us get 3 from 5 but at least there wasn't as many boats about. A good mix of stripes, blues & blacks are consistantly being caught and it looks like we will end up having a great season.

We will be fishing in the "Billfish Shootout" this weekend chasing a big blue so will put a report up next week.
