Mossy Point - Moruya Heads, 9 March

Woke up at 6.30am. No wind but the surfwatch camera for Moruya was not encouraging. But dragged the boat out anyway. The river was very high at Mossy Point and I only looked at the surf once to realise I wasn't going out!

Went to Hanging Rock but ditto. There were occasional breaks in the surf on the bar but the water felt bad - high, full of rubbish, some big waves coming from odd directions. A chat with Marine Rescue confirmed what I thought - no fishing today.

And sadly that will be it for 3 weeks apart from some possible beach fishing with my son at Avoca Beach in a week or so.
