Hi Raiders,

First time post so hear goes. Was planning on heading out to the harbour on Sunday morning at sparrows , until my mate convinced me to head out for a night session. Checked with the missus and the ok was given. We have fished the harbour for a few years now and we generally always go home with a feed of fish. So we launched at rose bay at 1130 right on high tide and headed to the spit for some live bait. By the time we got there the tide was slack, I started after some yakkas while my mate chased squid, I got a couple of taps but no joy then all of a sudden my mates on to a squid, then another so I changed rods and chased squid too. Before long we had 5, time to get some yakkas.with all the bad weather This was not an easy task. Headed over to the old trusty spots no joy, ended finding a s&$t load at cremorne wharf but they were hard going finally got a few then headed over near Clifton gardens and settled in chucked out the livies . Time for a kip woke up to my mates rod going off. Brought it in and it was a flatty smaller than the yakka, cooked a quick brekky at 6 then hit out side within the first half hour and 2 passes from North head to blue fish 5 Bonnie's, headed out side for a bottom bash in 50 meters but all we got was a heap of wrasse and sweep still a non stop session catching fish.

How big were the yakkas?? I wasn't getting any thing less than 25cm in the bay yesterday.
