DezM
Hi For those chasing bream, I recommend getting out there as the bream are getting nice and fat. We fished from 730pm off the point of rose bay from a boat.. We caught 4 fat breeam on sundown on bonito pieces and prawns. The largest went 39cm. Burley was an important factor. One tip I recommend is saving the frames, heads and skins from previous successful trip in the freezer for burley. The skin is great, all smell but nothing to eat! In the guts was all those black mussels crushed up so they having being dining well. What's with these large yellowtails, we caught one that was 30cm? DezM
Nice fat fish. If only I had a boat...or a yak... Happy fishing! Yes I was fortunate to be out on the boat which i am grateful as i was a guest. I expect land based spots where the reef or weed meets sand to produce similar results like forty baskets, balmoral, rose bay etc. Unfortunately no pics as I forgot the camera.
