Centrepin
The walk in from Wattamolla takes about 45 Minutes. With the high tide at 1.4, wind <15 knots and swell < 1M these were ideal conditions to fish the low platforms. Arrived about 2 hours before high tide and lost baits immediately. I blamed the stringy cabbage and swapped to strand weed and started to catch fish. When I struggled with getting fish this way shortened trace ( normally 1 M) and got fish again. Struggled again and decided to rethink my baits. It had been a long time since fished the rocks when they were fussy so put effort into making single leave cabbage baits wrapped around the hook and finished with 2 half hitches. This did the trick and got fish again. Nothing wrong with the weed just my sloppiness with bait preseentation. Fish were not large 30 - 38 cms. Kept about 10 and released more. Very enjoyable day. Boy the fish fillets are good. Pictures are same spot another trip but you get the idea.
stormy
Good effort Geoff. I went on Tuesday as well. Got zip - well, one down and one 'cocky', which doesn't count at all. Water inside the Port is still heavy with floating leaves, weed and storm rubbish. Should have gone outside on the ocean rocks. Ahg well, next time. I usually walk 15mins from Wattamolla carpark to the beach and am super tired!! Did you scale the cliffs or from an incline?
Centrepin
It is an easy walk, gentle incline. Lovely view from the clifftops. Geoff

Try to search from google map but point me to other place which is so far away from the coast. Is this place in Sydney region? Cheers, Phil
