Snuffers
Gday Raiders, I've just moved to the area and I'm looking for a nice spot for my young boys (6 and 4) to catch a feed and learn the joys of fishing. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Snuffers
mutd7
Gday Raiders, I've just moved to the area and I'm looking for a nice spot for my young boys (6 and 4) to catch a feed and learn the joys of fishing. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Snuffers Snuffers there is quite a few spots.. The causeway on the south eastern side of the bridge. Safe for kids and plenty of bream, whiting, leathers etc. Last week saw two kids pull in a keeper whiting and flathead at this spot. No worries about tide runs and or snags... The walkway on the North eastern side of the bridge (near the windang surf club) is also good. The sand flats are good, but tide affected which makes it hard for kids at times. The grassy areas on the north western side of the bridge (in front of the bowling club) and also the areas on the immediate south eastern side of the bridge. The bridge has a walkway under it at both ends - anywhere along there you should encounter fish. I take my 5 year old to all spots above and its fine.... Good luck
