Sunday morning headed outside hoping to downrig headlands for kings but too sloppy for my tinny. Trolled up a frigate mack and headed back into Pittwater. Found a drop off............8ft to 42ft ..........burleyed up and used frigate strips. Nothing for 30 mins then 48cm, 52cm and my PB a 75cm flathead all in a 20 minute run. Caught a 63cm last week. Spent many Summers drifting for hours for the odd 40cm fish, so great to enjoy these quality fish. PS the big lizard was sent back, the others not so lucky.
