Flathead bream Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 I am going to go fishing in Lake Maquarie on Monday 23rd April. I want to know good spot for Flathead and bream on Soft plastic and some good tips.I am not going on a boat. ^-^...
squizzytaylor Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Landbased for flathead.....The back of swansea RSL where it opens on to the channel on a run out, get up on the rockwall and throw toward the other side and out into the channel and around the trawlers. Coon island near the sand flats, fish the channels. Bream.... between the Naru St rockwall and Pelican Marina. Basic map attached hope it is of help. Cheers Geoff
Catchin Jack Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 As SquizzyTaylor has shown in the picture are all good for flathead, get bream around Lucy's Breakwall casting back toward bridge.

Cheers Geoff Hey Mate, I'm in a similar context to the bloke's question above. (land based) Do you have any advice in regards to tides for bream and flatties around this time of year for the spots you've mentioned. Cheers Elliott
