Bluefish point

Hi Guys,

I am planning a trip to Bluefish point... would you be able to tell me where you guys usually park(Accessible from which road) and where abouts you fish? i want to check it out a day or two beforehand, before i actually fish.

I have not bee n to Bluefish Point for many a year now and have forgotten the way down and no doubt tracks ladders and what not have changed and eroded and no plan to do so soon either, there are others here that will be able to help better than me. My question is are you experienced in rockhopping, are you going with others, will yopu be taking PFD's and EPIRBS, why? It's a long way down and theres no phone reception and its one of the more exposed ledges on our coast to the swells. My recommendation find a better option unless your going with a really experienced person who knows the area well.

I have to agree with ludrick.

I used to fish it many years ago. it is a dangerous spot. I've been knocked over there.

Please don't fish it unless you are experienced & DO NOT fish it alone.

Thanks for the advice. Im not going to fish there. too dangerous and its not fair on my family
