Upgrading prop worth it?

Hey guys I have a stacer 399 proline tinny with a 30hp mercury engine I currently have a 3 blade prop, would a 4 blade stainless prop improve the way it runs? Cheers bergo

hey mate try the mercury prop calculator http://www.mercurymarine.com/propellers/prop-selector/# it will recommend all different 3 and 4 blade props u enter in your boats weight and it will give u top speeds the calculator works for most outboard brands

Do be good at one thing means it will be not as good as the other two

A 30 on 3.9 tinny should be ample for good acceleration and speed
