I picked up one of these today as they were only $10 compared to all the other brands which were around $15+.

Has anyone used them before?

If not then I guess i'll find out next week when I head out on the water, just wanted to see what people thought of them before I had the opportunity to try them.

I have used and caught many fish on them but they definitely not as good as those more expensive ones. personally I prefer bassman and TT spinner baits, as their blades take far less effort to spin.

I used them on the weekend and I have to say bassboy is right, the blades on the TT's spin far more easily than the kingspins. Another thing I noticed is that the kingspins seem to get tangled in the line quite frequently (1 in 4 casts), whereas the TT's hardly ever got tangled.

Think i'll be getting the TT's from now on :)

The Kokodas aren't the best but they are good to throw into snaggy areas.

One way to improve them is to turn the end off the willow blade up or down 90 degrees about 5mm or so from the tip.

Doing that helps them spin a lot easier.

My fave spinnerbaits atm are Smaks but I am very keen to try out the U-MAKE-EM range!

Cheers,

Grant.
