Beautiful day today so on the outgoing tide I thought I'd try for some flathead or bream. Using some Bonito from a previous trip I caught this Salmon first cast. What a great fight on light gear and what a surprise to see them this far up the river. There has been chopper tailor so the will be smaller baitfish around. Winter fishing!I'll post a picture when I can figure that out

Nice- would love to see some photos. Best way I upload them is to upload them onto a site like photobucket. They give you series of links below the image and you just copy and paste into your post...

I fish the LCR a lot, can I ask where you were fishing from? Near Figtree?

Anyways nice work! :biggrin2:

Just opposite the Woolwich sailing club so if they are down below the bridge, they are probably plentiful downstream.. Great fight and run and a good amount of line stripped from the real. Next week I'll try rushcutters bay which holds plenty of bait schools
