Keofferam Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 Beautiful day today so on the outgoing tide I thought I'd try for some flathead or bream. Using some Bonito from a previous trip I caught this Salmon first cast. What a great fight on light gear and what a surprise to see them this far up the river. There has been chopper tailor so the will be smaller baitfish around. Winter fishing!I'll post a picture when I can figure that out
hughsnews Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 Nice- would love to see some photos. Best way I upload them is to upload them onto a site like photobucket. They give you series of links below the image and you just copy and paste into your post... I fish the LCR a lot, can I ask where you were fishing from? Near Figtree? Anyways nice work!
Keofferam Posted May 6, 2012 Author Posted May 6, 2012 Just opposite the Woolwich sailing club so if they are down below the bridge, they are probably plentiful downstream.. Great fight and run and a good amount of line stripped from the real. Next week I'll try rushcutters bay which holds plenty of bait schools
