trentarena89 Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 So last week I tried my first go at night rock fishing at Coalcliff (caught my first Scorpion fish 22cm) There were guys there nailing squid left right and centre so I decided I'm going to get some yakkas and try my hand at it, and using squid as live bait. Will be going out this friday night and taking advantage of the tide and calm conditions. I've sorted my rig out using 30lb braid with 60lb fluro lead and a running rattle float with a size 10 live bait hooks. I was just wondering if there is any chance at catching jews in this area, or even some rogue kings. There were decent sized tailor (35-45cm) being caught off salted pillies under a float but seeing as I'm pretty new to night fishing any advice would be welcomed.

You wont get Kings at night but maybe Jew!
trentarena89 Posted May 14, 2012 Author Posted May 14, 2012 You wont get Kings at night but maybe Jew! That's what I thought, although I have heard some stories about people fishing for jews and landing kings, thought I'd ask
