Hey Guys,

Is this headlamp a good 1 to buy? Ideally, i dont want anything expensive and just wanted to know how this is compared to a lamp with 53LEDs? (I understand you get what you pay for though)

Also, i am thinking about purchasing polarized glasses. Are all polarized lenses the same? Or are there stronger lenses than others? I take it the $7 polarized glasses on online shop are rubbish?

G'day

As for the lenser headlamp and it's miles above most of the cheap ones, most. It just took hunting to get a good price.

As for the sunnies cheap one are made with cheap usually plastic lenses that scratch easily and I believe are far less effective for fishing. I have Barz optics that are great. And have lasted over 2 years

i roll with Oakley polarized glasses and Katmandu LED headlamp, never failed me...

that one you linked to is not good quality.

never skimp on this sort of equipment (it can literally mean 'life or death' in the case of a headlamp).

I have the led lenser head lamp and I love it.. I use it for finding live bait at night and general fishing. I love the fact that it is fully adjustable between high and low beam and flood and spot light.

For sunnies I use spotters exclusively for fishing and one day when I forgot them I bought a $90 pair of shimanos that I was quite surprised with. I use these sunnies as my day to day sunnies and haven't had a problem yet.

If your after a good light weight torch and not a headlamp, I recommend the wolf-eyes. They are invaluable as a light weight torch, if your prepared to spend the money, as they are definately not cheap, but our SPG cops love them, and some of our special forces soldiers. Which gives you an idea of how good they are.
