Under the bridge would be your best bet mate

Which side of the bridge? I tried the left side just before the bridge during winter but most fishos were catching blackfish. i tried the wharf on the left side after the bridge and caught plenty of undersize bream. i tried the beach on the north side but caught nothing due to the strong current. thanks for your help.

you can try around the bridge on the other side of the beach, caught some nice flathead there, or if you drive over the bridge out of the entrance there's a nice little channel on your left hand side, has some nice bream and flathead in it,

If your going to fish at that wharf on the left side make sure you can cast out as far as possible.

Or you can fish where the lake and beach meet caught some very nice whiting over there at new years don't know if they are still around,

Prawns work best for flaties and worms for the whiting.
