Hey fellow fishraiders

I'm new to these reports so I hope this one goes down well.

I was reading about the place a heard that people have caought big tailor from there, I really like my tailor so I thought I'd give it a go.

It was about 3pm when we finally managed to get going (me n my mate Luke), got there around 3:30pm, It was pretty calm, there was a guy catching garfish which was pretty cool. They were pretty big to, I'll be trying for them tomorrow ;)

Armed with 2 bags of prawns (1 old and 1 new) and a bag of pillies we thought we'd give it a go.

I was using 2 x 2/0 hooks with a double snell rig holding 1 whole pillie

Kept losing them to the little pickers, Then after about 25 minutes Bzzzzz... started taking a good amount of line. I knew it was good.

Managed to get it to the surface and at first glance thought that it was my whopper tailor but after a second look realised that it was the Aust salmon

About 30 minutes later down to our last pillie, decided to cut it in half. Threw it out and pickers took the first half. Second half goes on and Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Managed to land the whopper of a PB.

Nice Sambos, Jono.

I am still amazed that you can catch that quality of fish from the baths in Gymea.
