Fished Gymea Bay early this morning for 2 bream and 1 undersize reddie, that was it. The surface had a lot of scum and leaves floating about, not pleasant looking at all.

Pumped some nippers at Grays Point, and pulled out 4 whiting and another bream. There were a few whiting swimming about, but once the tide slowed, the fish just disappeared.

Biggest bream was 34cm and whiting at 35cm, but most were just under 30cm, so not big fish.

The water was cool while standing in it, temperature is dropping, but the water at Wanda Beach is still a bit warmer when swimming there a couple of days ago.

Whiting are such great fun. I love attacking them on poppers. They are such aggressive little fish when it comes to top water. :biggrin2:

They were a bit quiet today, some days they are aggressive towards each other when feeding, but today each one was doing it's own thing, and when the current slowed, they all just disappeared, could not even see a little one. Might be the cooler water.

Mate, you're the King of the Hacking. I've never had good results from that river.

Hopefully my luck will change for next summer.
