Got a call at night from Pete my mate to go down south and get some snapper, which was last week. While i was rigging up and getting my gear ready i also rung my mate cg for some tips since i have never done this type of fishing before. Tem of the water was still a bit high they say for snapper but had a great day with Pete and landed my first Snapper on soft plastics which i was over the moon about it.

Can't argue with that mate, tis a nice lil guy. I love fishing for snapper on SP's,, I have most luck in the squidgy 110mm pilly flick bait and gulp 5" jerk shads (nuclear chicken is my fave in the gulp range for snapper).

Excellent work and I am sure it is the first of many to come :).
