hi guys i have the tilt tube out of my 1976 evinrude 85 and was wondering if it is possible to get a piece of black or gal tube and have it milled down to size and threaded ,a mate has a lathe and i was quoted $160 + freight by a local dealer probably stainless i didnt ask after picking my jaw up off the floor but i dont think the old one was any thoughts ?
