snapper catcher

Hi. Just want to know if anyone have used snapper catcher off the beach or rocks. What species have you caught and which color works the best. I'm currently in the process of testing this type of lure. Thanks.

Hi mate if your trying to bottom bash with these off the rocks I have no experience in doing so as usually there's reef and the rest off the ledges,

Otherwise I find pink and purple the most effective I've caught Jews, kings, snapper and other by catch on them they're essentially a paternoster rig with flash on them another great tip is to feed a glow bead over the hook up to the eye, just adds to the bling!

Thanks Brett...I'll be trying it on the beach first...I don't have a boat...I usually use pilchards for bait off the beach and off the rocks...the only lure I use is squid skirts off rocks for bonito salmon kingy...
