Down rigger connection

Hay all, reccon someone could take a photo of your down rigger release clip and bomb connector ect ? I have a bad of leaving the bomb attached while under way. And looked over to find just the wire...

I Just want to see if I should crimp a swivel or something to attach the release clip between the bomb clip and the main wire, I can't for the life of me remember the exact set up.

Year cheers . Mine had a short wire leader comming off that the release clip was attached to. Do you just make up a leader for the clip with with mono ?

Mine is just the wire straight onto the swivel, this is crimped, the plastic stopper

goes over the top of it to stop the crimp, swivel and clip being pulled through the downrigger pulley, there is no mono anywhere just wire.

Cheers got it sorted now, just need the swivel, bomb clip and a new release clip

Dump the wire and put braid on its awesome

$40 got me 200yds of 300pd braid

No hum less blow back and I just use a standard fishing knot

Every few trips I just cut a meter off and retie

might look into it, my wire is starting to carroide now any way.
