tw9635 Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Harsh fishing conditions. The surf looked massive how big was it. On the radio yesterday they predicted 6 metre surf.
Tip Tip Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Wow You can not even get the first corner by the looks of it with the water coming over the edge. The amount of white water in pictures 6 & 7 show how nasty it is. Was there any surfers in it this morning? Tip Tip
CarlRak Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Meanwhile, a bit further south......the story was much the same

Testlab Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 (edited) I have photos of Umina and Ocean Beaches from this morning looking across Broken Bay, Anyone interested? I heard the Palm Beach ferry skipper saying they weren't running due to 8m waves near Barrenjoey. Edited June 6, 2012 by Testlab
hotbite Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Great shots Ray!!! I can remember watching the late Gene Dundon from Gosford Anglers Club pulling out Bream & Blackfish out of Avoca rock pool when it was like that!!!!! Awhile ago now, around 1988.
tw9635 Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 My local beach balmoral is a dead flat beach, yesterday it was 3-4 foot and surfers were flocking the beach
arpie Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 WOW! Great Pics, Ray & Nibbles. Our se is remarkably calm this morning, tho it was smashing the cliffs a bit yesterday - Seven Mile Beach (Janeys Corner) would have copped a real pounding & looking from my balcony to the white water showing at the end of Cape Hawke & between the little island just off shore - is still copping it today. Cape Hawke really protects us quite a bit from the ugly Southerly conditions. cheers Roberta
niicholas.nguyen Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Thise are awsome pictures mate! I've save them as my desktop background!
