hit up clifton gardens last night, had the wharf to myself, and it was very, very quite. started wondering why no one else was there and what they knew that i didn't. suddenly my cheapy rod, with a shimano reel started screaming. i have a shoulder injury so my mate took on the fish and eventually a decent flatty surfaced and we went home happy!

cheers!

HI mate,

Nice fish.

Were you;

1) drifting lightly weighted baits

2) using plastics

3) or, just anchoring the bait on the bottom.

As they are ambush preditors, I am aways interested in the approach.

Thanks

Craig

Nice catch. :thumbup:

Decent size flattie! Gotta be happy with that one.

Lucky to get the wharf to yourself. Normally very busy place there.
