elferoz777 Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 Was informed this morning by a PKCT worker that the entrance to the northern breakwall will be closed to vehicles as one of the coal loaders had work done to it. Will be closed all long weekend according to worker. I found out after I was there for 45 mins...what a crap start to the fishing weekend.
slam354 Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 At least you will still be able to fish there eventually.I wish we could still fish the breakwall at Molineaux point botany bay.Has anyone heard what the latest is with the no fishing signs there?
PowerFisher Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 I heard somewhere on Fish raider that it was being close due to people falling in the gaps and the botany secuirty keep calling the ambulance so they are putting a stop to it.

Incorrect. I was there yesterday morning too. I arrived at 6:20am, fished till about 8am for nothing, and the guard came around letting us know there is maintenance work going on. I also posted about this in Fishing Chat. http://www.fishraider.com.au/Invision/index.php?showtopic=63658

mullo up Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Guys just to give you the heads up moullinex point breakwall is closed for fishing. You will see the guards there everyday now. They have put up new no fishing signs and also no tresspasing signs as people have climbed over to fish at night. Towards the point a new fence has been erected with barbed wire. I know now they are enforcing these rules as police have charged a few fisherman and fisheries officers were with them. This will be an ongoing thing. So i hope this gives you guys the heads up.
elferoz777 Posted June 11, 2012 Author Posted June 11, 2012 I dont think it will be long before port gets closed off for a short while longer. There were a few wieners there throwing there rubbish into the water and just trashing the joint. The raging fire they had also didnt help matters. By the look and sound of them they weren't locals. We gotta make sure we look after the joint or it will end up getting closed

elferoz777 Posted June 11, 2012 Author Posted June 11, 2012 Knowing those thoughtful people it would have ended up in the same water they were fishing from..... People like that annoy me as it will stuff things up for everyone
