For Smartphone Users

Ever since i upgraded my old iPhone 3GS to a much newer up to date and a hell of alot quicker Galaxy S2 i've been amazed by what you can do on phones these days, i came across this and thought it might be good for people who don't want to mount a fish finder in there boat, or go fishing landbased, it's amazing and i have no idea how they do it !

Hmmmm, very cool idea, but from the video not very practical.

1. You would need another fishing rod to attach the sonar device to cast out?

2. How does the sonar device stay still? It would be spinning around or the current would be taking it all over the place... which means you don't get an accurate picture, unless it has some crazy 3D technology which only exists in expensive boat sonars....

It looks more of a novelty.

This would be great for rock fishing! I've ordered one already.

This would be great for finding out the reefs and gutters. Probably save me from getting snagged all the time.
