Need to replace trim motor wires

Hi guys can anyone tell me what gauge of wire to use on my trim motor the wires going into it have corroded badly and need replaceing thanks warnie

Mate Not sure what gauge you need., I am sure different outboards used different sized wires.

Perhaps cut a section and take it to one of the boating stores to match the size.

Make sure you use multistranded/tinned wire.

Also I believe it is best to solder all your connections not just crimp them.

If you are not replacing the whole length or wire, make sure you cut it back far enough to get rid of the corrosion.
