PORT KEMBLA NORTH WALL ?

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has tried Port Kembla northern break wall in the last week??

When I was there on the long weekend they said it would be closed for the whole long weekend but didnt mention whether or not it will re open...

Just wondering if anyone has gone down in the last week and seen the gates opened (both the road access gate and the break wall access gate)?

The gates are closed when there's bad weather otherwise it remains open. I'm heading down there this weekend. See you there.

Hey El,

I went this morning (chucked a sickie ) arrived at 6:45am, gates are open, 4 cars already there.

As I was walking down, I saw 1 old fella land a big salmon, was definitely over 60cm, and was fat.

I started fishing and I gotta tell ya, it was extremely slow with zero big hits. I did manage a Trevally but thats it. So many pickers out there, I pulled up 3 baby palm size bream. Called it a day at 9am.

It was slow when I last went...in 3 hours only got one sambo.....

It took 1 hour to hammer three up north

I think ill wait till October to venture back there
