Hey raiders,

Just wanting to get a little feedback if I may.

I just traded a 4mtr Stacer runabout, with a 25hp outboard that is just a little too heavy for me to handle on my own, on a 2009 Stacer 15hp ... 3.85mtr

The new boat has a flat floor with marine carpet, I know that I will be able to handle it a heck of a lot better on my own unlike the previous model, are there other raiders that own, use or have fished from Stacer tinnies of this size?

If so, how did you find the fishing from this little beast?

I live at Raymond Terrace, and will put her in at various spots like, Lemon Tree, Karuah, Forster and Laurieton. I might even venture down to Bne Waters or Lake Mq.

Any feedback will be much appreciated, with thanks.

Sounds like we have roughly the same boat... we had an old Sea sprite without any marine carpet etc and boy when we bought this, it was amazing. We use ours in the harbour and also up the various rivers. She has never let us down and it always feels very stable. My mate, who I co-own the boat with, has also launched it by himself too and had no issues. Only issue we have had is when we fish in stormy, wavy areas, it obviously doesn't handle too well and you get very wet. But that's not the point of the boat...

Ultimately, they are nice little boats. I still remember my first fish on it was a 62cm flatty and was my largest fish up till that date. It was like the boat was rewarding me...

That's a very pleasing result, and I hope the fish gods smile down on me when I christen it 1fishing1.gif
