Snapper at Yellow Rock in Batemans Bay

This is a bit of a long shot. A friend mentioned that he had overheard a conversation in a tackle shop in Batemans Bay. The gist of it was that the snapper were "on fire" in a gutter near Yellow Rock. Yellow Rock is part of the headland immediately to the west of North Head and is the eastern most end of a sanctuary zone. So the gutter must either be south of Yellow Rock or to the west. Does anyone have any more information. Apparently this is a well known spot for snapper in Batemans Bay.
