Not a bad morning..

Got up at sun rise and hit the beach and rocks up wollongong's north end.

Wasn't a lot happening which is my typical luck there in the mornings.

I was happy to see my rod bend then slowly head towards the reefs.....then I saw a nice little sambo pop up

He was about 50 cm.

I was a little disappointed as I didn't think salmon were around there and was hoping for something a little more tasty and a lot less stinky.

Bring on summer is all I can say......more than sambos will be caught them

Next time try slabbing one those fillets and lobbing it out for a Jew. That's prime Jew turf down there.

I never thought of that but will def give it a go next time during a night session.

the reef there houses a pretty good mix of fish and a jew would be nice.

I ususaly fish the gutters nec to the reef and rocks

+1 for chucking out a fillet of salmon. You'll have to put the breaks on the jew if your near the reef! Good luck!
