Bermi update for 23rd & 24th

Recommended Posts

Well the reports from Bermi improved on Sunday after Saturday was very slow.

Some big fish were caught on the troll with the biggest around the 130kg mark. Quite a few boats found school fish in the 30kg range but it was harder to find the fish than previous weeks. The water temps have dropped but as usual with the bluefin they can be there one day gone the next. There are a few boats back out today but with a fairly strong southerly forecast for this afternoon and a rising sea we may not see boats back out till Wednesday before strong NW winds are predicted for later in the week & weekend.

The current is still pushing up from the south and reports of a few fish off Ulladulla as well as JB over the past few days are still keeping our hopes up that we may see some fish off Sydney over the coming weeks.

Cheers

Damo
