Benji-martin Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Hey everyone, I'm going to be in manly on Saturday night and figured that if I'm in the area I might go down go manly beach and throw a bait in. Just wondering if the beach fishes any good for salmon and tailor? Also if I were to put out a shark bait is there any chance of picking up a shark? Martin
rjc123 Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 A ganged pillie should determine whether the salmon and tailor are on the chew! Its definitely worthwhile sending out a shark bait. Summer would be better at manly but i'm sure there would be a few hammerheads and whalers around! Cheers, Tom
brettmann86 Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Hey mate manly fishes ok it's productive at times a few mates of mine regularly fish there and every so often they get a good size Jew or 2, dunno bout hammerheads its a little to cold for them but some smaller whalers should be around, only downside to bottom bashing for sharks is you will get alot of rays as well but in their own right on light gear they're fun too I suppose
