JOURNEY HOME

Well our time up north has come to an end with the end of my contract. Rex and myself are about to start our journey back to the east coast.

My contract finished on Friday 29/6, so I flew down to Canberra to pick up our other 4x4 so we could leave the community.(Our big 4x4 ended up in the drink when we went off at the Daly River Crossing and is now in Alice Springs hopefully to be made road worthy)

I started the big drive this morning from Canberra enjoying a really good day and little traffic. After getting a really big headache, decided to pull the pin at Hay for the evening, instead of pushing on to Mildura. Tomorrow I will head to Port Augusta, then Coober Pedy, Alice Springs (where I will be staying 2 days with my brother), then Tennant Creek, Daly River and then on to Port Keats.

We will be leaving the community on Sunday 15 July or Monday 1 July and then heading back to the East Coast.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our time up here in the North, but look forward to heading back and catching up with everyone and becoming more active Fishraider members.

Hope to catch up with every one once we return to the east coast.
