Advice on purchase

Hi guys,

I need to replace my old reel and am thinking of spending a bit more, but don't know what's good value.

Currently I fish off the shore, whiting and bream, and need a 2 piece rod.

If you guys don't think it's worth splashing out then I'll just probably get a $50 combo from *****..

What do you folks reckon? Is it worth the extra dosh?

Positive about okuma is that they have life time warranty im pretty sure, have you looked into shimano?

There is one other good option i think. The shimano alivio range of reels. They're around $40 and actually quite a good little reel. Perfect for bream, flathead, trevally and whiting. I've caught good snapper as well using it. Smooth drag for a cheap reel too! Give it a look!
