chrisborg86
Did you have to travel far from Browns mate? We're hoping to get out to Browns this wknd and would be nice to hear that they're being found not far from Browns. Heatons is a bit too far for the Trailerboat... wazza3006
Fished Browns last Friday 27/7 with Rads and Sparky. Someone had certainly stirred up the Makos. Can't remember how many fish were lost to the sharks but we were still able to bag out on gems. Two small blue eye rounded off the day. Great effort considering a 30 knot southerly was blowing. At least the northerly current helped us stay on the mark. Can't thank Andrew from Downrigger.com enough for the electric reel and advice. Saved the day and christened the gear. Should have been there for the SBT 'Tuffy' but had a prior commitment you lucky bastard! Thanks Rads for the tuna basket, it didn't go to waste !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wazza3006
Fished Browns again yesterday with Rads and Sparky. Lost at least five good fish to sharks. Landed one small blue eye, one reasonable specimen and almost bagged out on gemfish. Managed to see the critter taking the spoils. A bronze whaler about 5 foot long came up along side after gourging himself on another good size gemfish. Current wasn't too bad but the wind did pick up during the day. Still a good day to be able to get out on the water There should be plenty of records broken during the Mako tournament especially if fishing for them at Browns Wazza
